is the new Chief
Traffic Officer in
Empangeni

THE Empangeni
Traffic department
has welcomed the
arrival of a new
Chief Traffic
Officer - Sats
Reddy, who joined
them on 1 November.
Reddy has been with
the Traffic
Department for 20
years and came from
the Umvoti Traffic
Department to
Empangeni where he
‘hopes to add value
to an existing, well
run department’.
He says that he will
be focusing on
educating people in
road safety by
implementing
programmes to reach
adults, young people
and pre-school
children and would
welcome invitations
and suggestions from
the community.
He believes that
with public
participation, road
safety can be
improved by
awareness and
proactive responses,
especially as we
head into the
festive season.
