This is South Africa’s biggest bodyboarding contest and Plett’s longest running event!
As the 4th and final event before the SA Champs on the SA Bodyboarding Association circuit with points counting towards the crowning of the SABA champions this is an event not to be missed.
The event expects to attract more than 150 entrants many of whom are South Africa’s best bodyboarders. The contestants come from all around the country and are ready to battle each other for the coveted “King of the Wedge” title.
The Wedge in Plett is one of South Africa’s most famous and desired bodyboarding venues and this event has a long standing tradition in South Africa. A firm favourite on the body boarding calendar. Come and support these contestants as the beach should be as busy as the waves.
