Rates include bed, dinner and breakfast, with meals served ‘farm-style’, featuring game and fresh vegetables prepared in the traditional Afrikaans and German manner, common to Namibian farms.With a lovely landscaped garden, hiking trails, swimming pool, and splendid vistas of Mount Etjo on your doorstep, one can become lost in space and time; no red lights, no shops, and no petrol within 75 km. Mount Etjo is a geologically unique feature of the Namibian landscape dating to 500 million years ago. It is a “sister” mountain to the famed Waterberg Plateau National Park and the region is home to several protected wildlife species including Hartmann’s zebra, damara dik-dik, leopard, and klipspringer. Kudu, oryx, warthog, and other species inhabit Omaha at the base of the mountain. In addition, over 250 species of birds are seasonally known from the surrounding areas, including numerous waterfowl.

Omaha is conveniently located two hours north west of Windhoek, en route to a number of Namibia’s primary tourism destinations such as Etosha and Waterberg National Parks, Damaraland, Bushmanland, Kavango Region, and the Caprivi Strip. Located nearby are the Erindi Game Lodge, dinosaur footprints, Omaruru Game Lodge, Mount Etjo Safari Lodge, Okonjima Lodge/Africat Foundation, and Cheetah Conservation Fund. There is plenty to see and do in the immediate area, ensuring that guests will have a wide selection of destinations to explore.
